Graduate Geography and Planning and the UofT Black Research Network are pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the inaugural edition of the Black Graduate Scholar Award in Geography and Planning. Priscilla Ankomah-Hackman (Master of Science in Planning), Moboluwajidide Joseph (MA Human Geography), and Nokuzola Songo (PhD Human Geography) are engaged in research ranging in focus from race and racism in planning scholarship and practice, racism and violence in public space, and conflict and internal displacement in South Africa.
