Biography
Cecelia White is in her first year of the Master of Arts in Geography at the University of Toronto. Her SSHRC funded master’s project is looking at rural-urban youth queer migration in Canada and the ways in which queer space is understood in various places. Cecelia completed her Bachelor of Global and International Studies (Honours) specializing in Global Genders and Sexualities with a Minor in Indigenous Studies from Carleton University in 2023.
Alongside her studies, Cecelia is a queer activist who is particularly passionate about creating accessible queer spaces and creating community-led safety practices.
