Majd al-Shihabi
Majd al-Shihabi is a PhD candidate researching the influence of City of Toronto climate action plan (TransformTO) on the urban fabric of the city. His doctoral project seeks to understand how the technical modelling used for policy design can open or close political imaginaries for desirable futures. Specifically, he uses co-creation methods of building counter-models that envision different policy pathways for the future of urban living in Toronto. Majd is the co-founder of Palestine Open Maps, and the MASRAD collective.
