My work revolves around the study of workplaces, the agents that inhabit them, and the spaces and times across which work unfolds. I am interested in what people do for a living and to support themselves (and one another) within and beyond the workplace.

My dissertation, entitled Politics Put to Work, mobilizes a feminist political economy perspective to study labour in the social economy in Italy. I investigate work cultures, practices, and conditions in social cooperatives in Milan.
